The company

Set up in October 2002, Generation:3 has chosen to provide consultancy - and only consultancy - to companies that have to, or wish to, transform their IT infrastructure by integrating technological vision with corporate and organizational processes and by using an economic model able to reduce operational costs and add value rapidly. This unusual stand, midway between the traditional Management/Strategic Consulting company and the System Integrator, gives the new company more freedom to offer the best results, while the client has more freedom to choose who is to implement the project (with help from Generation:3, if requested).

Generation:3's strategy is to help companies see the potential increase in business that can be generated by a more efficient and integrated use of Information Technology, rather than simply evaluating its "cost". IT is thus used to create profit, while protecting investments in technology. A further means to gear up to today's markets, which are so turbulent and difficult to predict, offering ever-diminishing windows of success and falling profitability.
